SKOK is a civic association registered by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic on May 14th 2002. The Association follows up the activities of the four national conferences of non-profit non-governmental organizations (further NGOs) active in the areas of social assistance and social health care which took place between 1996 and 2001.
SKOK offers membership to all who identify with its goals and mission. It associates its members not only as social and social health care services providers but also as employers of social and social health care workers.
The mission of the Association is to contribute to the development and improvement in the quality of social assistance and social health care services.
