  The project that is taking place within the European appeal of the Community PROGRESS 2007-2013 program has just begun in cooperation with SKOK, EAPN ČR, the public benefit organization People in Need and the association for the development of theory and practice of social policy Socioklub at the IQ Roma Service association in Brno. The joint efforts of participating organizations from 2009 to 2010 will focus on supporting social inclusion processes with the following goals:
  - raising public awareness of the fact that social exclusion has negative consequences on the well-being of society as a whole and it is thus worthwhile to make an effort to provide citizens in danger of social exclusion improved access to social services, adequate housing, good education and standard healthcare;
  - execute an analysis of social inclusion tools at the national and local levels, regularly monitor the implementation of the National Action Plan for Social Inclusion;
  - create a broad base of information for the design of NAPSI for the upcoming period according to the Open Method of Coordination (OMC);
  - strengthen the participative approach in the informative, monitoring and drafting parts: include individuals living in poverty and in social inclusion into social policy processes.
Both the topic of social exclusion and the outcomes of the project will be promoted in the media, and an educational campaign will be carried out on the occasion of 2010 – European Year Against Poverty and Social Exclusion. Additional educational tools will be developed for relevant fields of university study and for the needs of non-profit organizations to understand the broader context of social inclusion and its importance. A crucial impact of the project will be a higher degree of awareness among the public and greater participation of citizens in creating future NAPSI documents.
